Dark Clouds and Daffodils.

When the dark clouds move in,
And you feel the need to hide.
To curl up in a ball,
And shut the world outside.

Don’t hurt your mind in thinking,
A dark vexatious thought.
That steals away your will,
And in its trap you’re caught.

Happy thoughts, just choose one,
To focus your mind on.
Better still to choose a flower,
To hold and look upon.

Then thinking as a flower,
And just what you may need.
The sunshine on your skin,
With clear water now to feed.

Then the meaning of your life,
Becomes a very simple thing.
When with sunshine and pure water,
All such beauty it doth bring.

So let the dark clouds now rain water,
For the flowers to feed upon.
This will then bring out the sunshine,
When all the dark clouds then are gone.
