Always look on the bright side of life.

This was written again in Jeddah after a heavy nights drinking in the Smoking Sandal. It received mixed reviews when I attended my last meeting at Saudi AA. Although the leader said I was making progress.

In the deepest abyss of lifes darkest shades of the soul.
Lie furrows of pain.
Dormant, yet ready to awaken and plough their message
for all eternity on the fabric of your mind.

And yet. How to perceive a lighter colour.
That we may mix and temper the severity of this shade.
And look upon life in a lighter hue.

To gently smooth the imprint of reality.
And once again renewed.
Open forever the shutters of darkness.
On the windows of our soul.

That is so good Daz. I found myself keep wanting to read through it again, and could sense the wavelength you were on when you wrote it. It's excellent. Thank you for sharing it.

Thanks Cas. It's always appreciated when someone likes your work. Although your the first to see it. I've never shown it before.
But as you have made the effort then what the hell. Though I think I got carried away for a first time post. So I will watch for a while.
