| A Legacy Of Love.
When my time is over The ticking clock is done. And both my boys are all grown up next generation now begun. If you both are blessed with children, as blessed as I have been. Then remember these words I say to you of all that I have seen. Of two boys growing up from babe's to men. In a home filled with love for each other and then. Show your wives and your children each day that you care. And that love isn’t for taking, it’s a gift that you share. If you can pass on this gift and stand back, watch it grow. And look on with joy at this seed that you sow. I hope in the future. Remembering when. I wrote you this poem Of my love now and then.

| Hi David,
What wonderful poems you've written about your beloved sons, Nathan and Mikey, the poems made us both cry.
We are very proud of you David, and Horace and Annie would have been proud too.
Lots of Love, Aunty Jean and Uncle Alan |

| Yes, isn't that so true, mattycat. My mum & dad & myself were sat at my dad's computer at their house earlier reading Daz's poems. We were all very moved - especially by this one. Wonderful Daz. Thanks so much for sharing your poems with the rest of us. We Love 'em Cas xxx |

| Hi Aunty Jean, Uncle Alan. Thanks so much for writing. It means a lot to know you enjoyed them. I hadn't written any since I came back from Jeddah in 1996 apart from the one for Nathan. Then all these beautiful ladies wrote such encouraging words when I posted the one's I had written there that I started writing again. I will probably have to stop soon as all I seem to do in my spare time is either chat to the ladies here or write poems. I don't have much spare time anyway with building a 2nd bathroom (that I must get back to) and my research has all but stopped. But I must admit it has been a welcome respite all the same. So drop by again soon, ya'll come back again now ya hear. (Beverly Hillbilly's). Lots of love. David. xxx _________________ My family are like stars in the night sky of my life. | Hi uncle Alan. Good to see you on line again. Worked on the bathroom today. Built the stud wall and plastered it. (not today). The shower base is in and I've finished tiling the walls today. I will grout them in the evenings this week and then at the weekend tile the floor. All the pipes are soldered and in place, filled with water and tested ok. Once the floor is in I can put the sink, toilet and shower head in and pipe up. I haven't told Joanne yet that gas comes out of the hot...lol I've upped her insurance. Hasn't Carole done a great job of the site? and our friends Chellin, Matty and Maxine are all stars. The site will grow and grow, all down to their hard work. Say Hi to Aunty Jean and hope to see you soon. Love David. xxx _________________ My family are like stars in the night sky of my life. Always there at the end of the day. | Hiya,
Thanks for your kind words Daz. "Smith Chat" would no longer exist now if it hadn't been for the encouragement, reassurance and input of Chellin, Matty & Maxine - and YOU.
Don't understand what you and my dad are on about with the water pipe & gas oven - but you both seem to be on the same wavelength about it - so I'll not ask!! |

| Hi all. Once again you're all very generous with your words. Sisters and cousins are a little biased but I can live with that....lol Love to all.
