have been compiled from details extracted from
"Marriage Licence/Bonds, Volume 1, 1668-1739, and Volume 11, 1740-1752",
published by Cumbria Family History Society and Cumbria Archive Service, to whom acknowledgment is made.
These volumes were compiled by Clement Singleton in 1994 and 1996 from an original transcription made by R. Morris Richardson and Edwin Dodds in 1911-12.
